Martin Brodeur decided to one-up Henrik Lundqvist to tie the Eastern Conference Finals at 2 heading back to New York for Game 5.

Zach Parise had a notable performance for the Devils in their 4-1 win in New Jersey Monday night. Parise had 2 goals leading the charge for the Devils who were shut out in their last game. Bryce Salvador and Travis Zajac had the other goals for New Jersey along with assists from Alexei Ponikarovsky, David Clarkson, Parise, Ilya Kovalchuk, Adam Henrique, Bryce Salvador, Martin Brodeur, and Danius Zubrus. Ruslan Fedotenko had the lone goal for New York with assists from Brad Richards and Michael Del Zotto.

It was a penalty filled affair in the third period as the Rangers became desperate for a goal taking 9 penalties in the third. The shots were even at 30-29 for the Devils and they ultimately showed the much needed discipline which paid off.

The two teams will go back to Madison Square Garden for Game 5 in what should be a rough remainder of the series.
