Big Show is on a rampage in this week’s edition of WWE Raw!

The Big Show starts out the show with a typical poor me approach to his whole situation. He says that no one cared about him and that he was just a giant to everyone. He reminds everyone that after he got fired, Brodus Clay was out there dancing in the next segment. He goes on that John Cena hurt him because he didn’t stand up for him by threatening a locker room mutiny and calls the fans phony and shallow. He then talks about No Way Out and how John Cena will suffer the ultimate loss to him.

It was a really vanilla promo by Show with the poor me approach, I’ve never thought he had it on the mic and I still don’t. He just doesn’t convince me as a heel because he always takes the same approach.

1) Alberto Del Rio vs. Santino Marella

Del Rio beats down Santino. Santino comes back with the cobra but, Del Rio blocks it and hits the Cross Armbreaker and Santino taps out.

Winner: Alberto Del Rio

Alex Riley is backstage sucking up to Eve. Show walks in and says the GM has allowed him to pick his opponent tonight which strikes fear into Riley. Show tells him to relax and that he’s not picking him but, says he has a message for the locker room and slams Riley’s head off the wall.

2) WWE Tag Team Championship Match: Dolph Ziggler & Jack Swagger vs. Kofi Kingston & R-Truth (c)

Swagger puts Kofi down on the mat after taking control. Swagger takes Kofi back into the corner. He fights off Ziggler and Swagger but gets taken back to the corner and double teamed. Ziggler tags in and drops an elbow for a 2 count. Kofi fights back and Ziggler misses the splash in the corner and tries for a tag. Truth comes in and Swagger tags in. Truth unloads on Swagger gets a roll up for 2.
Truth continues and drops Swagger for another 2 count as Ziggler breaks the pin. Ziggler and Kofi go at it and end up outside. Truth goes back at it with Swagger and faceplants him for the win.

Winners and STILL WWE Tag Team Champions: Kofi & R-Truth

Good back and forth match as we see dissension between Dolph and the rest of Vickie’s alliance after the match. I wish they would do more with Dolph though as he has been left to rot in the mid-card for far too long. Talent deserves recognition.

Main event will be Brodus Clay vs. Big Show, Cena/Show will be in a Steel Cage. We get Laurinaitis talking about being on the cover of WWE ’13 when Punk’s music hits. He compares the GM to Pac-Man since neither of them have testicles and that the real person on the cover of WWE ’13 is a whole hell of a lot better looking than Laurinaitis. We see the real cover and it is CM Punk whose face we see.
Punk says that his is a lot bigger than John’s. Punk says that Eve is looking at the cover. A wrestling video game with an actual wrestler featured on the cover, what a concept. Punk tells John to take the Hoeski and Carlton out of the ring with him.

3) CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan (If Bryan wins, he gets a title shot)

Punk hits the running knee in the corner but he misses the bulldog. Punk with a rollup when Bryan misses a round kick and he gets a near fall. Bryan with uppercuts but Punk with an Irish whip. Bryan sends Punk to the apron and Punk with a shoulder followed by the springboard clothesline for a near fall. Punk goes up top for the elbow drop but Bryan recovers and he crotches Punk on the top rope. Bryan with a superplex and he gets a near fall. Bryan exposes the turnbuckle and AJ tells the referee. Bryan yells at AJ and Punk with a round kick gets a near fall. Punk wants to know why AJ is out here. Punk pulls down the knee pad and Bryan sends Punk into the exposed turnbuckle and Bryan gets the three count.

Winner: Daniel Bryan

After the match, Bryan chants “yes” as AJ looks upset that Punk lost. Bryan turns around and there’s Kane with a steel chair. Kane drops Bryan with the chair and then chokeslams him on top of it. AJ slides Punk a steel chair. Punk meets Kane with it and unloads on him. Punk beats Kane with the chair until he flees from the ring. Punk’s music hits as he exchanges looks with AJ.

Why they keep giving these matches away on free TV I don’t know but, they can keep doing it. Bryan and Punk could have a year long feud and it would be amazing. Any time they lock up in the ring is great and AJ could be the perfect manager for Punk if it does go the route that I’m thinking it will.

4) Christian vs. The Miz

Christian tries for the spear but Miz with a boot to the head but Miz can only get a two count. Miz punches Christian but Christian with boots to Miz and then he hits a back elbow from the turnbuckles. Christian sets for the Killswitch but Cody approaches the ring and then Miz gets a near fall. Christian misses a move from the turnbuckles. Miz avoids the Killswitch but Miz misses the Awesome Clothesline and Christian hits the Killswitch followed by a frog splash for the three count.

Winner: Christian

What a fall from grace for The Miz, I can’t believe the difference from now to a year and a half ago. It’s like they completely lost confidence in him. He’s rarely seen and if he is, it’s just jobbing out. Another good win for Christian’s momentum, hopefully he’s given a healthy run with the Intercontinental title after brief runs with the World title last year.

Dumb backstage segment with the Three Stooges (Johnny, Eve, Otunga) and apparently Otunga wants a piece of Sheamus.

Miz is complaining in ring now, Orton comes out and drops him with the RKO and poses. Not needed and makes Miz look even worse, maybe this will set up a ppv match now that Jericho is suspended.

We see Dolph backstage and he’s telling Vickie that should be him and he wants out of the team with Swagger. She’ll see what she can do.

Finally, let Dolph have his singles run. Please.

5) David Otunga vs. Sheamus

The bell rings and they start brawling. Sheamus takes it to the corner. Sheamus blocks a hip toss with a big clothesline and sends Otunga to the apron. Otunga counters a powerslam and runs over Sheamus for a 2 count. Otunga with forearm shots to the chest and a shoulder for two 2 counts. Otunga with a third pin attempt. Otunga with knees and more forearms in the corner. Sheamus blocks a clothesline and runs over Otunga twice. Sheamus dumps him to the apron and hits forearm shots to the chest. Sheamus comes back, hits White Noise and then the Brogue Kick for the win.

Winner: Sheamus

Thank you. What is Otunga’s purpose? Stand there every week and job out to the main-eventers? Pft.

6) Brodus Clay vs. Big Show

Well, Show makes fun of Clay and then proceeds to destroy him, Kofi, and R-Truth then, gets his hand raised by Big Johnny. End show.

Well, what a terrible episode of Raw. Hopefully that WWE Attitude logo on the video game is a sign of things to come in today’s WWE because things are very, very problematic right now.
