Nintendo’s newest console, the Wii U, has finally received a release date and pricing and to be honest, it’s pretty reasonable.

The Wii U will be in stores in EU on the 30th of November and the US on the 18th of November.

Nintendo will release two SKUs in the US:

  • Basic set: A white Wii U console with 8 GB of internal storage, one white GamePad controller, AC adapters for both the console and controller, a sensor bar and an HDMI cable for $299.99.
  • Deluxe Set: All components are black. This bundle includes all elements from the Basic Set, as well as the Nintendo Land game, increased console storage capacity of 32 GB, a console stand, GamePad charging cradle and a stand that allows users to place the GamePad vertically on a table for $349.99.

Purchasers of the Deluxe Set will also be enrolled in Nintendo’s Deluxe Digital Promotion. This allows users to gain points with each digital purchase that can later be used to buy other content from Nintendo’s e-Shop.
