It seems as though another very talented studio will be shutting its doors this week. The latest alleged victim is the very talented LightBox Interactive in Austin. Find out more inside.
George Broussard went to Twitter today to send his well wishes to the employees at LightBox Interactive in Austin, Texas.
Here’s what George said in its entirety:
Good luck to my buddies at LightBox in Austin. Layoffs and rumors of near whole studio gone by Friday 🙁

LightBox Interactive released the highly anticipated Starhawk (check out our review right here) earlier this year to less than stellar sales despite it being a wonderful game. The game quickly became a budget title just weeks after release here in Canada and never really gained any ground even after some great free patches that provided new gameplay modes and content.
Hopefully this rumour proves to be just that but, judging by the source, I wouldn’t hold your breath. Thanks to Dylan Jobe and his team for a job well done on Starhawk.
