PlayStation Vita users will have a bunch to be excited about next week with System Software Update 2.00 coming to the system as well as PlayStation Plus making its way to the Vita with a blockbuster lineup of games to keep fans satisfied!

PS Vita System Software Update (version 2.00) will add a bunch of new features and enhancements including:

  • Email – read and check e-mail directly from the PlayStation Vita.
  • Content Management – wirelessly transfer content between PSV & PC in addition to browsing folders on PS3/PC and copying them to PSV.
  • Setting for PSone Classics – users will be able to assign controller buttons to touchscreen, rear touch pad, and buttons with select games on the PSV – custom screen mode option for flexible screen size adjustment.
  • Web Browser – enhance performance and improved support of HTML 5 and JavaScript – users will have the ability to tweet webpages.

If the update wasn’t enough, PlayStation Plus member will be able to download a great starting lineup of games from the service for the PlayStation Vita starting November 19th. Games and features include:

  • Uncharted: Golden Abyss
  • Jet Set Radio
  • WipEout 2048
  • Gravity Rush
  • Tales From Space: When Mutant Blobs Attack!
  • Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions
  • 2GB Cloud Storage – 1GB PS3, 1GB PSV
