The Florida Panthers acquired a grizzled veteran today with the acquisition of 43-year old Jaromir Jagr.

The New Jersey Devils have traded forward Jaromir Jagr to the Florida Panthers in exchange for a second-round draft pick in the 2015 NHL Draft and a conditional third-round draft pick in 2016. The Devils do not retain any of Jagr’s salary in the deal, and have their choice of whichever of the Panthers’ two third-round picks is higher.

TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun has confirmed that the Devils will pick up the $2 million bonus owed to Jagr based on games played.
