What was originally thought of as a hoax has been confirmed by multiple sources across the Internet. Included above is the ABC News report with more information.
Prince was on his “Piano and a Microphone” tour” and had to cancel two shows earlier in the month due to the flu. The singer’s last performance was Thursday night in Atlanta. He won seven Grammy Awards in his career and was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2004. Another musician gone far too soon.
