The Winnipeg Jets went to work to address their issues on the back end signing goaltender Steve Mason and defenseman Dmitry Kulikov.
The Jets signed goaltender Steve Mason to a two-year, $8.2 million contract.
Mason had a .908 save percentage and a 2.66 goals against average in 58 games last season for the Philadelphia Flyers.
Veteran defenceman Dmitry Kulikov has agreed to a three-year, $12.99 million deal with the Winnipeg Jets.
After spending the first seven years of his career with the Florida Panthers, Kulikov was in Buffalo last season, finishing with two goals and three assists in 47 games with the Sabres.
Still just 26-years-old, Kulikov has played in 507 career NHL games and has 30 goals and 113 points. He was drafted 14th overall by the Panthers in 2009
