The Pittsburgh Penguins have acquired forward Josh Jooris from the Carolina Hurricanes in exchange for F Greg McKegg.

Jooris has three goals and three assists in 31 games this season. The 27-year-old is making $775,000 this season and scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent in the off-season.

In 204 career games, Jooris has 23 goals and 32 assists.

McKegg has split the season between the Penguins and their AHL affiliate in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. He has two goals and two assists in 26 games at the NHL level this season.
