Tell us a little bit about yourself. How did you get into comedy? Was it always something that came naturally or did you grow into that role?
I’m a comic from Toronto and I currently reside out of Hamilton. I’ve been doing comedy for a while now and I just recently got back from touring with Russell Peters. Comedy was something I always wanted to do so right out of high school, I just kind of jumped into it and the rest is history.
What was it like to be named one of E!’s 10 funniest Canadians?

That was nice. It was a while ago, but It was nice to have people notice your work when you think no one is looking.
How have you enjoyed working with Howl & Roar Records?
This is my first recording I’m about to do so I’m looking forward to it. I’ve known Allison Dore, the founder of Howl & Roar Records for a while now, she’s hard-working and a hustler (in a good way).
What can audiences expect from your live taping?
I am really looking forward to my first upcoming live album recording. I feel like it’s long overdue. The audiences can expect a lot of the jokes and stories I tell on the road but with some new ones. My style of comedy is a conversational laid back one so I plan to bring a lot of that during the recording. Hopefully, people will respond and laugh. That’s all you can really ask for.
What comedians have influenced your career the most?
There’s a lot but the ones, on the top of my head, are Patrice O’neal, George Carlin, Doug Standhope, Monique, Patton Oswalt, Eddie Murphy, Russell Peters, Don Rickles and more.
What’s next for your career beyond the live album?
I’m going back on the road. Currently, Hamilton is my next stop.
What advice do you have for aspiring comedians?
Just write good jokes. The rest will come.
What’s your life like outside of comedy?
Pretty boring. I like to code. I like action figures. Not much after that. Oh I’m married.
