Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I am a simple guy who has accompanied every step of his life from birth with music. I can’t imagine my life without. I always dreamed of doing something that would be a part of music and my childhood dreams came true. But my journey towards this took a long time, a lot of theater, a lot of dancing, started my own music blog Priliv Space, which even became in demand in the CIS, as a result, I became a photographer, what I still do. I do photoshoots, work at the studio. Once I realized that you need to do what brings pleasure. It turns out I am in my place. I am an artist-photographer (smile).

How did you get into music?

Apart from what I said above, a year before the first track, I met one of the co-founders of the Maitre label, I did a photoshoot for the artist with whom she worked then. We met, didn’t communicate for a year, a couple of correspondence in social networks and a year later I received the message “Hey, have you ever thought of becoming an artist ?” And 2-3 months after this message, we signed an agreement.

How would you describe your musical style?

Look, I’m not a fan of anyone style in music. I am a music lover, no matter how loud it sounds. I love music, as a parent loves a child, with all the advantages and disadvantages. I can find something genius even in the simplest melody and get a buzz from it. Therefore, it’s difficult for me to do something in the same style. And I know for sure that our whole team is like that. Therefore, we compile different directions/styles, Hip-hop and pop, reggaeton and EDM, etc. In the new tracks that we are talking about to launch, there will be rap and so on. So my musical style is “emotional music lover” (laughs)

What can you tell us about your latest single, “Have Fun”?

This song was one of the first songs written, but it is strange, we always put it off for launch. It was as if the mood in the year was not emotional enough. And so we decided to release it in the midst of winter. And, you know, we probably guessed correctly, as especially people on Spotify were waiting for this warmth. What can you say about this track? 🙂

What was it like working with top engineer Scott Banks?

Scott is a great professional. Their whole team is made up of very nice people; communication and they do not need to have everything explained to them, they are true professionals. And what I liked most of all -- they make counter suggestions on how to make the song sound even better. Real music engineers.

You also have a popular blog and music project Priliv Space. How did that come about?

I’ve been doing it a little less lately, drowned a little in orders for photoshoots. But the team is working and it is developing. I often post with new music on my Instagram -- @vincebarrea So if anyone likes hidden from the mainstream, but cool music -- sign up.

What’s next with your career?

We will be releasing new music. I started learning Spanish. We want to add some Spanish tracks and we are planning 2 duos. I will not speak with anyone yet, but I have long wanted to work with these guys.

What advice would you have for aspiring singers/songwriters?

Work with professionals, while not relying on a miracle, work a lot, around the clock and only then a miracle happens. Well and listen to the advice of people with experience, while I can not give other advice.

What’s your life like outside of music?

Absolutely ordinary, I do sports, listen to a lot of music, work, dance, read, grow.
