The New York Rangers and forward Chis Kreider have come to terms on a seven-year contract extension, team president John Davidson told reporters Monday.

The deal carries roughly an average annual value of $6.5 million.
Kreider, 28, has 45 points in 60 games this season.
The six-foot-three, 217-pound power forward has 316 points across 520 NHL games, all spent with the Rangers.
