Tell us a little bit about yourself.

Hi! I’m Goldie and I am a singer/songwriter born and raised in Los Angeles. I’m a Taurus. I love matcha lemonade. I’m also releasing my debut EP, ‘GOLDEN,’ on July 28th, and I’m so excited for everyone to hear it!

How did you first become interested in a music career?

I’ve been interested in music since I was a child and have always been drawn to performing. I come from a family full of artists and athletes, so they’ve always been supportive of “unconventional” career paths and taught me that a career in the entertainment industry was achievable with hard work.

How would you describe your musical style?

Pop inspired by classic rock. I grew up listening to classic rock music, so it’s definitely a genre I reference a lot in my songwriting.

What can audiences expect from your debut EP, ‘Golden’?

Hopefully, it’s their new favorite EP to listen to! There is so much to this EP, even though there are only five songs. Each song feels like a diary entry of what was going on with my life during that time. I always try to be as authentic and vulnerable as possible in my songwriting so that it can be relatable to other people. I want audiences to feel like what I am writing is truthful and, most importantly, really fun to listen to.

How integral was producer Adam Gurr in crafting this EP over the last two years?

He played a HUGE part in crafting this EP! It truly would’ve been a completely different EP if I hadn’t created it with him. He has helped me shape my sound in so many ways and has helped me become more experimental while writing and recording.

Do you have any live shows coming up?

I’ll definitely update my instagram when I have future shows booked in –

What’s next for your career?

I’d love to build a team around me, play more shows, and write my first album.

What advice would you have for aspiring singers/songwriters?

The only person that will believe in you 100% is yourself! Be your number one fan and throw everyone else’s opinions out the door!

What’s your life like outside of music?

Life is very good currently! I feel like my friends and I are in a time period in our lives where we are incredibly motivated to advance our careers but also trying to find a balance of having fun with life and letting the wind take us where it needs to. We are all in our very early 20s, so I think it’s important for us to have this time period to just be free to shape and expand.
